Andor Festivals! Great Festivals with a Greater Aim: To produce funding and expertize leading to a global network of sustainable communities.
Welcome to the Strange 1's Andor Festivals and events page. If you're interested in attending an Andor festival, an interested band or artist, or wish to get more involved with the aim of establishing this network of communities, then please use my contact page to see if I may be of service.
A friend of mine, Jedi Jade (aka Terry Kok), is one of the main people behind this fantastic initiative, which, if it gains the support it should, will have some effect on making the world a better place through the eco communities it will spawn, whilst providing a whole lot of people a big barrel of fun on the way.
Up to 25% of the proceeds will be used to fund Andor - a permanent, community owned and operated propagator festival site and eco community training center, which will eventually fund new initiatives and train people to found and operate their own eco community in their part of the world using sustainable practises.
Terry and his wife Patricia have been involved with the advancement of sustainable practises for several decades, and live in an eco ark, which they call Faerie Hill Farm. They somehow also find time to run a yahoo group about celss and sustainable community called Andor Projex.
The first three Andor festivals are to be held in 2011, and Terry and his wife Patricia have already been very busy networking to bring bands and performing artists together for these first Andor events.
I hope that these pages will act as a guide to those wishing to learn and enjoy themselves. They will grow as Andor grows.
