Welcome to the Environment Action and Charity Events Page of Jedi
Richard Strange, taking environmentalism to heart.
I will be putting
up resources on these pages to help charities and environment campaign
organisations make the world a better place for all. I will look at
environmentally friendly homes, products and services. I will also explore
how almost anyone can adopt environmentalism to some extent, whether
it's by changing the way you live, or whether you engage in legal environment
campaigns of one form or another.
Check out my page
on environment
campaign organisations to find out how easy it is to conduct an
online environment campaign. The scope and frequency of these campaigns
is still quite scary, even after all these years and now that scientists
have agreed not to disagree about how humanity has had a negative impact
upon the environment. These campaigns are free, ready made and will
only take a few minutes at most of your time as they come in.
Martial Arts Marathon for Charity (Barnados, WWF and others)

The toughest charity
events I've ever taken part in were a couple of martial arts marathons
back in the 1990's (8 and 10 hours) with my brother Mark, who is carving
a name for himself in the martial arts movie industry (see
the martial arts & movie web community of Sifu Mark Strange).
In the first event
for Barnados and the WWF, which was mainly just the 2 of us, we performed
routines and sparring in front of thousands of shoppers non-stop for
8 hours during the day in the 3 tier rotunda at Preston's St.Georges
shopping centre in England, UK. During the peak lunch time period my
brother and I decided to push ourselves to attract attention with non-stop
sparring, which was a bit like Gladiator with 3 tiers of onlookers watching.
As my brother shortly
afterwards became the heavyweight full contact chinese kickboxing champion
of the UK (1994), and later became the only foreign competitor to be
awarded at the World Championship, held in China (Most Outstanding Competitor
in the 1996 Chin Wu Kung Fu World Championships) - you can imagine how
tough this charity event was. It was later covered in local newspapers
and fighters magazine.

Even
back when I was at junior school taking part in charity events was quite
normal, which was good, and I hope that it continues today. Since leaving
school I've taken part in a few charity events over the years for various
causes, and I still do what I can today, even if it's just putting my
spare change in charity boxes.
Please check back
often, to find out how you can make a difference in the fight to preserve
our planet and entire way of life.
May the Force
be with You!
