Jedi Healing Technique: The Healing Meditation.
About
a couple of decades ago I came across a healing technique which I practise
on people when I'm mindful of the present (they never even know I'm
there).
To
be honest I can't remember where I got this technique from, it was so
long ago, but I took the technique on board because it was so powerful.
It is similar to Reiki, but it doesn't involve directing the force through
your palms, or breath.
Note
- this healing meditation is not effective on broken bones or amputations
(or similar wounds) - normal triage techniques should be used in such
circumstances - mechatronic limbs and hands may become available.
The Healing Meditation
The
person you are going to heal (they do not need to be ill) should, ideally,
be in front of you in person (I've tried it with a photo of a person,
but it doesn't feel effective).
Look
at the person you are going to heal and imagine drawing a black cloud
of negative energy out of the person's head - this energy is illness
of any kind, and it can also be stress and any negative force. Once
the small black cloud has formed above their head start to draw it into
your third eye slowly (see the important note below) so that as the
wisp of darkness reaches you the black cloud above the person dwindles
and disappears until the darkness is no more.
IMPORTANT:
You must draw the darkness into the site of your third eye (middle of
your forehead, above the bridge of the nose) - and where your third
eye is you must visualise a vortex of silver white light spinning in
a clockwise direction which absorbs the darkness and cleanses it (this
part of the visualisation is extremely important). Once the last bit
of darkness is gone stop visualising the third eye vortex of light -
The healing meditation is now complete.
NOTES
I can do this whilst walking nowadays, and no-one would notice from
looking at me what I'm doing, but it did take a while before I reached
this point.
It
is important that the visualisation must be very strong and constant
from start to finish (unbroken concentration).
The
cloud is very real to me when I perform this technique, and more than
once I've also felt something that feels like a blow to the head when
performing this, though mainly it is just a weird sensation at the site
of your third eye as you consume the darkness.
I don't
think this is a technique a beginner should do until they are proficient
in both concentration and visualisation (you should not underestimate
the power of visualisation).
May
the Force be with You
