Sifu Mark Strange - Film Producer, Actor and Chinese Martial Arts Expert
Introduction
Mark Strange, now a film producer and actor, has been training in Chinese Martial Arts since 1983. He qualified to teach in 1989 and has been providing tuition ever since in various styles of Kung Fu. For 12 years, Mark owned and ran the Leyland Academy of Chinese Martial Arts. During that time, he trained thousands of students from all over the country in all aspects of Chinese martial arts. Many have gone on to teach and achieve success.
Over the years, Mark has achieved many accolades and sporting titles which include National Chinese Forms Champion (92), British Full Contact Chinese Kickboxing Champion (94) and Outstanding Competitor in the Chin Wu World Championships, China (96). Mark has trained extensively in the UK, China and Hong Kong. During his visits to China, he has been guest of the Shaolin Monks and has studied with world renowned masters.
Mark continues to advance in the mastery of the arts and, apart from continuing to teach on a freelance basis, his versatile skills are also called upon in the film and television industry.
